I love this time of year. Crisp, cool mornings, changing leaves, hot apple cider.
And nature study.
This is just the best time of year to take your kids on a trail hike, visit a local park, or even explore what's in your own backyard.
One fun activity we have enjoyed on our autumn nature walks is a scavenger hunt. You can make a list of things to find along the way and then enjoy exploring nature. Be sure to take along some crayons and have fun with leaf and tree bark rubbings, too!
Here's a free printable for your scavenger hunt and tree and leaf rubbings. I hope you and your little explorers enjoy it!
Happy fall y'all!
