I hope you love them, too.
If you have not yet discovered Candace’s blog, His Mercy Is New, now is the time. She is embarking upon a 31-day series sharing daily Scriptures and prayers for you to pray over your family. She even records herself praying for her readers as they begin this blessed practice. I’ve read Candace’s blog for years and never tire of what she has to write. If you are looking for encouragement (especially for depression), don’t miss His Mercy Is New.
Have you met Bonnie Rose? I first got to know her because we both work for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. Then this past year, I had the honor of helping her launch her new book, Asia: Its People and History. Her blog Looking Out the 10/40 Window crossed my radar when she began participating with Blogging Through the Alphabet. This precious blogs teaches students, teachers and parents about the countries in the 10/40 window (mostly parts of Asia). As a Gospel of Asia blogger, Bonnie is committed to sharing about the plights of persecuted Christians and unreached people groups. This post is representative of how she goes about helping us all become more aware and teaching us how to pray. I was so moved by the picture of these children.
Taunya at Walking with Shiloh is one of those bloggers who blogs from the heart, opening wide the transparent flow of deep thoughts and feelings. Her love for Jesus and her family is apparent. This post she recently wrote about learning to love the broken little girl she was, after suffering abuse, had me in tears — not just because of what she suffered, but because of the way God has redeemed it all. As a big plus, she’s also a great homeschool blogger.
Just so you know, narrowing this post down to just five blogs was HARD. There are so many amazing bloggers out there. And I read many more than this. I cannot wait to share more of my favorite blogs with you in the coming months!
