In April, more than 80 moms publicly committed to praying for their children every day for 30 days, using a model suggested by Tricia Goyer in her book Lead Your Family Like Jesus.
I was overwhelmed with emails and comments sharing how special this month of prayer was in the lives of several of your families.
So I thought it doing it again would be a great way to kick off the summer.
The premise is that we will all pray daily for our kids’ heads, shoulders, knees and toes:

Head — Pray your children will always lift their heads to look to the Lord, and when they’re too hurt of discouraged, pray they’ll allow God to lift their heads. (Psalm 3:3)

Shoulders — Pray your children will learn to let God carry their burdens. (Psalm 55:22)

Knees — Pray your children will get on their knees before God often. (James 4:8-10)

Toes — Pray your kids will be connected to a community of believers who will keep them on their toes. (Hebrews 3:12-14)

I even made these little graphics for you to print out (here’s the printable PDF version) to remind you. Mine are in my Bible. Feel free to use them again, or to download them now if you didn’t get them in April. The printable version even has sample prayers and Scripture for you.

If you are joining me in June’s 30 Days of Prayer for Our Kids, I would love it if you left me a comment here. I will be praying for you every day as well! You don’t need to buy the book to participate, but if you would like more information about it, you can read my review here.

Once again, here is the link for your printable version.
