Four years ago, I began sharing with my readers product reviews through what has commonly become known as “The Crew”.
The Schoolhouse Review Crew (formerly the TOS Homeschool Crew) is now a group of about 250 homeschool mom (and one dad) bloggers who share with the homeschool community at large their thoughts about curriculum, books, toys, games and other useful products for homeschool families.
Several times a week, we are offered products to use in our homes, with our kids, for several weeks, and then we write about our experiences — good, bad, or indifferent. Reading blog reviews has fast become the number one way homeschool moms research which products to use in their homeschools. I (we) take the job of sharing our thoughts with you very seriously for that reason.
But that’s not the only thing I want to tell you about this Crew. We are much more than a group, bringing individual opinions about products. We are a crew — a team, a group of people working together. And not just working . . .
Praying, sharing, advising, encouraging, loving, concerned, watchful, intentional, and accountable.
Friends . . .
It really is amazing that you could bring together a group of people who will for the most part never meet in real life and develop lifelong friendships. It is a side benefit I never expected when I joined the Crew 4 years ago.
But I am grateful — eternally so.

Ben and Me is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. This site contains links from a number of other affiliate programs as well. If you click on these links and make a purchase, I may receive a commission. This does not cost you any more, and it helps cover costs associated with running the website. I am very picky about the products I recommend and the companies I support. I never recommend a product I would not use myself.
