Incredible! With a lot of help from some of my good friends, we have made it to day 31 of 31 Days of Delight-directed Learning. It has been a challenging month but so worth all of the effort, late nights, and collaborating with other bloggers to make it happen.

I pray that this series has encouraged you as you begin the new homeschool year, to add a little (or a lot) of delight-directed learning to your days and weeks. I believe I have given you plenty of inspiration for doing that in any manner that will mesh well with your own preferred method of homeschooling.

Delightful Planning A Unit Study Planner for Every Homeschool

That was the goal — to help homeschool moms add delight-directed learning to ANY homeschool when I decided to publish this series AND when I wrote my eBook — Delightful Planning: A Unit Study Planner for Every Homeschool.

Here’s what a few homeschool moms have said about Delightful Planning:

Marcy’s Delightful Planning is a wonderful guide full of encouragement and explanations of teaching methods that work well with delight-directed learning. Of course, you also get wonderful printables which help you plan and document your students’ learning. It’s a great resource! — Cindy West, Author/Speaker, Shining Dawn Books

Delightful Planning was exactly what I needed to begin our child led homeschooling journey. I needed encouragement and inspiration for myself for this big change and Marcy’s words were a blessing to my heart. If you’re considering allowing your children to lead their own homeschool journey, but aren’t sure how to get started, I highly recommend reading this book! -Misty Leask, Year Round Homeschooling

This beautifully-done resource walks you through the concepts and steps for creating your own delight-directed unit studies, and then she gives you the tools to actually make it happen!  It includes printable forms for calendars, planning sheets, reading logs, book reports, journaling pages, field trip planning forms and journals, fun ideas, recommended resources, and more!  Marcy has really thought things through both for the content included and the layout and design of the forms.  It’s SO nice! – Erica Johns, Enrichment Studies

This week my reluctant learner suddenly became passionate about ninjas and began telling a ninja story to his siblings. Because of the encouragement I found in Delightful Planning, I was able forget our lesson plans and quickly provide him with the material he needed to study ninjas as part of school. Using the chapter Five Steps to Planning A Unit Study and the planning pages in the back made it easy for me to pull something together that met our learning goals while at the same time feeding his passion. -Amy Blevins, Homeschool Encouragement

If you have not had a chance to check it out, I encourage you to do that today.
