“I have a dream that one day little black boys and girls will be holding hands with little white boys and girls.” ~MLK
This week’s theme at Project 52 is “I Dreamed a Dream”.
These pictures are from our homeschool square-dancing co-op–Dancing for the Lord. Twice a month we meet together to square dance, once for practice, and once to dance for residents in a local long-term care facility.
As I looked at the pictures of all the children, I couldn’t help but imagine what Martin Luther King, Jr. would think. How proud he would be. I also think about how grateful I am that his dream didn’t have to be my own. His dream has become reality.
For me, these pictures represent a different dream — the dream of being a mom, homeschooling, friendship, service. So many blessings.
Have you dreamed a dream? I’d love it if you shared in the comments.
