Quick and Delicious Green Smoothie Recipe

A few months ago, I purchased a Ninja blender (just couldn’t swing the Vitamix $$).  I have been making green smoothies (sneaking in those extra nutrients) almost every day, trying new recipes often. Today, I’m sharing my favorite recipe so far. It is super simple, sweet, and delicious. Even Ben will drink this one. He can even make it himself since it uses frozen mango and pineapple, so I think this is a great recipe for kids to both make and drink.

Quick and Delicious Green Smoothie Recipe

2 cups baby spinach
1 ripe banana
1  cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 1/2 cups water, coconut milk, or almond milk

I blend it all up together and it makes enough for 2-16 oz smoothies, the perfect amount for Ben and me to have for breakfast or a snack.

The ripe banana adds a lot of sweetness, so no other sweetener is needed. And the frozen fruit replaces the ice one might usually add to a smoothie. You can always add in a scoop of protein powder as well. Some days I add in a scoop of fermented vegan protein powder.

Do you have a green smoothie recipe to share? Feel free to add it in the comments. I would love to try it!
