I’m excited to share with you that my good friend, Danika Cooley, just release a brand new book. You may already be familiar with Danika’s amazing Bible curriculum for grades K-12, Bible Road Trip, and the book I shared about last fall, When Lightning Struck: The Story of Martin Luther for teens.
Now she has written a beautiful story for younger children, Wonderfully Made: God’s Story of Life from Conception to Birth. This sweet book takes children on a journey through the growth of a baby in utero, birth, and the Gospel. It is filled with Scripture, images of what a baby looks like as it grows inside his mommy’s tummy, and information about what is happening at each stage of fetal growth. It is a precious way to begin instilling the Truth that babies are a blessed gift and live is sacred from the beginning.
Danika is a precious, Jesus-loving, homeschool mom who has spent much of the past 6 years honing her skills as a researcher, writer, and theologian. I am so impressed her that I want to share a short interview with Danika, so you can get to know her better and learn more about why she wrote Wonderfully Made.
Be sure to scroll all the way down to find a giveaway of Wonderfully Made, along with other wonderful resources for your family, including a set of first trimester fetal models (your kids will love seeing how teeny tiny they once were!). The giveaway is valued at $600 and also includes Danika’s Bible Road Trip (our current Bible curriculum) and When Lighting Struck (Ben’s favorite book he read in 2015).
