Face Moisturizer for Aging Skin
- 3 oz. Argan oil
- 1 oz Emu oil
- 20 drops Frankincense essential oil
- 10 drops Lavender essential oil
- 4oz dark glass dropper bottle
Add oils to the bottle and gentle shake to mix. Store in a cool, dry cabinet or refrigerator. Massage daily into face, neck and upper chest, after cleansing face. I use this oil morning and night. Only a few drops are needed.
Frankincense is an expensive oil, and I understand it may be cost-prohibitive for many to purchase. If that’s the case for you, here are a few other essential oils that are very good for your skin:
Peppermint Essential Oil (use less of this — it’s very tingly)
Roman Chamomile (also not cheap, but not as expensive as Frankincense)
Tea Tree (especially great if you’re still getting breakouts)
A few other ways we use Frankincense oil in our everyday:
Nourishing Hand Lotion (try the Oils of the Bible blend)
10 Essential Oil Blends for Your Diffuser

Precautions
Never use essential oils undiluted, in the eyes or mucus membranes. Do not ingest unless working with a qualified practitioner. Keep essential oils away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier oil).
