Thank you for stopping by Ben and Me. My name is Marcy spent 14 years as a homeschooling momma, graduating my son in 2020. I began this blog at the end of Ben’s kindergarten year. What began as a way to chronicle our homeschool journey has become so much more than that. Ben and Me is my ministry to the homeschool community. This is my personal blog and a clear representation of my heart for homeschooling, parenting, and Jesus. You can learn a little more of our personal story over here on our Meet Us page.
I have enjoyed encouraging and supporting homeschool moms by writing transparently about our day-to-day lives, Ben’s struggle with ADHD, my struggle with Lupus, and our strong faith. I also enjoy sharing great products by reviewing homeschool curricula, toys and books, and home and personal items. I also love blessing my readers with giveaways.
Above all else, it is important to us that this blog is a transparent representation of our lives, what we believe, and what products we use in our home and homeschool. That said, we do have opportunities to share about your company, if we can discover a mutual benefit in doing so.

Endorsements and Recommendations
Marcy Crabtree has worked with The Old Schoolhouse Magazine and its various divisions for four years. I have been so blessed to know Marcy as a friend first, but having her as a close business associate providing much needed homeschool-related consultation and social media services has been a double blessing. Marcy is an absolute pro at anything she sets her hands to. She is a thoughtful co-worker, team player, skilled social media manager, and natural supervisor over an enormous team which has been placed under her care. Those who work for her would agree; she’s an excellent boss. I never worry about Marcy. She’s as faithful as the day is long, and I would trust her with my life. I give only my greatest recommendations for Marcy Crabtree for work or consultation in any capacity; I cannot speak highly enough about her. She truly is one of the top associates TOS has ever worked with.

Sometimes the Lord sends gifts so stunning they take our breath away. Marcy Crabtree is one such gift. We met when we served together as admins on a Facebook page. Shortly thereafter, she joined the launch team for Philosophy Adventure. Her subsequent involvement in Home School Adventure Co. has revolutionized the way we interact with the homeschool community, bloggers, and social media professionals. She offers wise and compassionate insight into the heart, mind, and needs of homeschooling families, and the depth of her integrity is truly rare. If you have the opportunity to work with her—seize it. You will be richly blessed!

When I met Marcy, I knew nothing about social media. I had no business Facebook page. I wasn’t on Pinterest. My Website was inadequate and lacking a blog that would connect me to homeschool moms. Now, two years later, I still know very little about social media–but I don’t have to because Marcy does! My business Facebook page is beautiful and is filled with colorful, informative, and insightful posts, and my Pinterest boards are crammed full of resources for homeschool families. She deftly takes the social-media marketing burden off my shoulders every week.
Marcy also gives me spot-on advice about my business and knows how to connect me to others. I’m so relieved to be guided by her experience and expertise! She’s a gem!

I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the excellent work you have done on our promotions. Your review of The Warrior caused the book to soar to #37 on Amazon’s top 100 Free list during its KDP free promotional period and resulted in over 12,000 downloads.
I was so impressed with your most recent work on The Force. The blog tour team you put together was exceptional. What a great group of ladies! Their reviews helped launch the book right after publication and gave us a solid base of reviews from which to begin promoting it.
I recommend your services to everyone I know who is trying to increase exposure for their work. I tell them that you are “the book whisperer.”

I was blessed to work with Marcy on the launch of my first book, and her passion and patience were incredible. Her knowledge of both graphic design and social media was abundantly apparent. I can hardly wait until my next project is ready for her masterful touch!
