After we completed our Tourmobile Tour of the District, we hopped off the tram at Union Station for a quick lunch in the food court there. There really aren’t a lot of easy choices for lunch in DC, but you can always count on the food court!
After lunch, we headed across the street to visit the National Postal Museum. Here we learned all about the history of mail delivery in the US, beginning with our first Postmaster General Benjamin Franklin, continuing on through the Pony Express and ending with modern day mail delivery.
