Abraham Lincoln is Ben's favorite president. So it's very cool that we live about 1 1/2 hours from his birthplace. This week, Dad had a business meeting close by, so we went along and had a family field trip to Lincoln's Birthplace in Hodgenville, KY.

This site is a National Historic Park, so there is a Junior Ranger program. I you aren't nearby, you can download the Junior Ranger Booklet here. We're adding it to our history notebook. There are also lesson plans available on the website.
