It’s that time of year again — time for the Circle of Moms Top 25 Homeschool Moms contest. Ben and Me would be honored for you to vote for us.
If you have enjoyed or benefited from Ben and Me at all, I humbly ask for your vote. You can actually vote once per day from now until the contest ends on June 13. It truly just takes a couple of seconds.
Some of you might be wondering why I would care about winning what seems like a trivial blog contest, so I thought I would share a few reasons with you.
1. Exposure — I write Ben and Me for three reasons — to chronicle our homeschool journey, to minister to and inform homeschool moms, and more importantly, to (hopefully) bring glory to God. Circle of Moms is huge — we’re talking millions of moms potentially being exposed to homeschooling and faith though our blog.
2. Affiliate Exposure — I earn a little bit of money writing my blog, mostly with affiliate links and sponsorships, so the more people who are exposed to my blog, the better chance I have of earning a little extra income. The money I earn from my blog helps supplement the costs of homeschooling Ben, and while it’s not a huge amount of money, every little bit helps.
3. Opportunity — Winning this contest last year gave me several opportunities to write for a much larger audience than my blog is probably ever going to see. I enjoy having other opportunities to write. In fact, I am hoping to publish my own series of books, beginning this year.
I promise you this is not about accolades or pride (though it certainly is an honor to have been recognized last year and nominated again this year).
Thank you for supporting us by voting for Ben and Me! We greatly appreciate your willingness. The direct link to our page is found here.

Ben and Me is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. This site contains links from a number of other affiliate programs as well. If you click on these links and make a purchase, I may receive a commission. This does not cost you any more, and it helps cover costs associated with running the website. I am very picky about the products I recommend and the companies I support. I never recommend a product I would not use myself.
