I’m always a little bit shocked that anyone even reads my blog. Because of that, receiving an award is always equally as shocking! It’s also an honor. So thank you to Michelle, over at A Life Better Than I Deserve for blessing me with the Stylish Blogger Award.

Since I’ve already taken care of #1, I’ll move on to #2:
I’m an RN by education and training (mostly labor and delivery), which means everyone calls me first when anyone in their family is sick or has a new diagnosis. And I don’t mind it a bit. Anything I can do to help ease the mind of a friend, or help someone to understand what’s going on with their body is a pleasure.
Ben is my only child. But my mom will tell you she has 5 grandchildren. She’ll also say they’re all wrapped up in one 10-year-old boy.
I love dark chocolate, sweet tea, and the color yellow.
I was recently diagnosed with Lupus. It’s been a tough year, waiting to find out what exactly is wrong with me. And the medications I’m taking for it are not exactly pleasant. But I’m learning more and more how to lean on Him. And what morning sickness feels like.
I was born in Miami, FL, reared in Lavaca, AR, and call Louisville, KY home.
I don’t care if I vacation at the beach, in the mountains, or at a campground 50 miles away, but I must have a good book with me (and access to a hot shower).
I am blessed with a wonderful family, an amazing church, and the greatest friends a girl could ask for. But some days, I still feel lonely and discontent. I’m working on that.
