Nicky and Ben
Ben’s bestest friend, Nicky, came over for a sleepover last night. And I use the word “sleepover” very loosely here. I have no idea what time they actually went to sleep, I went to bed at 2am and they were still going strong! Ben said they wanted to “pull an all-nighter.” Funny. I have no idea where he’s heard that phrase.
They boys spent most of the evening playing Star Wars games, hide-n-seek, and Legos. But I did manage to get them settled down for awhile to make some salt dough Christmas ornaments. They had a great time and were very proud of their work in the end. If you have never made salt-dough ornaments, you will find the recipe and instructions here. We did not paint our ornaments. Instead, I opted to color the cough with food coloring instead. It worked out really well for these active boys, who I’m sure, would not have wanted to take much more time than they did for this project. Here are some pictures of our final products…
