There’s something about a fresh start. And I think that’s one of the most appealing things that propel many into getting right to new goals. But it’s almost a tricky thing to balance. Often times we want a fresh start because we haven’t liked how some things are going. Namely, how busy we homeschooling families can be. So, while we want to slow down and start afresh, we all too often end up diving right into a busy pattern and maintain old habits that need to go. It doesn’t have to be this way though. So, I have a challenge for you to help you ease into the new year so that this cycle doesn’t happen unintentionally.
The steps include the following:
Review Accomplishments
Review Major Set Backs
Review Lessons Learned
Give Thanks
Keep a Positive Outlook
Be Intentional About Avoiding Burnout

Easing Into a New Year – Free Printable
While we’re looking at both internal and external aspects about ourselves, it’s important to note the need for internal change. Looking at what’s happening externally helps us to evaluate what’s going on inside of us. But in many ways what happens will be determined by our internal life.
For this reason, I hope you find this Easing Into a New Year free printable beneficial for your personal growth. You can use this printable as a homeschool mom, to evaluate your homeschool and make needed changes. Or you can use it for your personal goals and growth. I’ve written it in a generic way so that it will be useful for any area of your life. You can use it at the beginning of your homeschool year, the start of a new calendar year, or go ahead, be brave, jump right into the middle of the year to evaluate how things are going. Why wait?
