O is for Ornaments {Blogging through the Alphabet}

The Christmas tree is finally standing upright and since it’s pre-lit, the lights are on! Now the decorating can commense! 

I know . . . we’re late. We always are. Because Ben has a December birthday, we almost always wait until his celebration is over before we begin His celebration. 

The decorating of the tree is one of my favorite activities. I just love Christmas ornaments.  We have some that are handmade by me, some that are handmade by Ben, some that represent places we’ve visited, a collection from my favorite ballet — The Nutcracker, and every year we add a family ornament and a “Ben” ornament. My hope is to give Ben all of his ornaments as a wedding gift some day. If I can part with them at that time.
