I shared a couple of weeks ago that I have been chosen for the 2010-2011 The Old Schoolhouse (TOS) Homeschool Crew. We set sail very soon and I am very excited.
If you are not familiar with the TOS Crew, well….. where have you been? Just kidding. Seriously, if you are not familiar, then let me explain.
The TOS Crew is a group of about 250 homeschool families who will be reviewing products (mostly for your homeschool) and then writing honest reviews about the products on our blogs and in our newsletters. In the past the crew has only had 100-125 members, but this year there will be 2 crews…one for elementary aged students and one for middle and high school students.
It’s a little overwhelming getting to know 249 (mostly) new friends, so we have devised a way to begin to get to know each other and I think this might also be a great way for y’all to get to know them as well. One thing that has really surprised me is how many awesome blogs there are out there that I’ve never even seen! So the way we are getting to know each other is through our blogs.
Each week, 10 crew memeber blogs will be highlighted. You can always find them over on the far right sidebar of my blog, listed under “TOS Homeschool Crew Blog Spotlight.”
Take a few minutes and peruse the blogs. You may find some you’ve never seen before either, and you’ll love what you see. You’ll also want to keep up with all the awesome reviews that will be forthcoming! These ladies (and 3 gents) are inspirational, talented, fun homeschoolers! My blog reader is already going nuts with all of the new entries!
