This will be my 4th year to attend the Midwest Homeschool Convention in Cincinnati. Every year has been a refreshing, though sometimes convicting time for me. Every year God has designed a perfect mix of encouraging and “kick me in the seat of my pants” kinds of speakers for me. I much prefer the encouraging ones, but don’t we all need a kick in the backside now and then?
The line-up of speakers and vendors is first class, as usual. You’ll find some of the biggest names in homeschooling. A few examples….

The vendor list is just crazy. Everybody who’s anybody will be there. Don’t you just love being able to walk through a vendor hall, talk to the authors of the curricula you’re considering using, getting your hands on all the great stuff, and finding little treasures you might never have even heard about except for this opportunity?
And if all that is not good enough, this year, Tim Hawkins will be performing 3 shows. What? You’ve never heard of Tim Hawkins? Well, allow me to introduce you….
So last night I spent some time perusing the sessions in order to choose which ones I want to attend. With around 10 workshops offered per session, it’s not an easy task.
