Get the entire Magic School Bus Collection at 50% off! That’s a total of 52 episodes in 8 DVDs of fun science learning for your homeschool for $39.98 (reg. $79.95). We have this entire collection and it has been well-loved for years at our house.

We used these videos/books and the accompanying science kits mentioned below as our entire science curriculum for 3rd grade, matching up unit studies/lapbooks from Homeschool Share (HSS) to spill them into our full curriculum. Doing this allowed us to use science as the basis for our school year, which Ben loved. He would tell you that science is his favorite subject. Being able to use it as a jumping off point, but still incorporating other subjects like history and geography with the HSS unit studies was perfect for him.

These DVDs cover all kinds of science topics from human body and germs to astronomy and flight, animals (ants, bees, butterflies, bats, desert animals), plants (the rainforest), seeds, rocks, oceans,  volcanoes, and more.

The set includes a helpful Parent’s Guide with a List of All Episodes and Topics, Tips for Viewing, Ideas for Family Science Fun, and more! And also a Kid’s Guide with Experiments, Activities, Facts and Notes!

Add in the Science Kits from The Young Scientist Club, created to go along with these DVD’s and you’ll have an awesome, fun, hands-on science curriculum for elementary-aged kids. There are 7 of these kits available (A Journey into the Human Body is pictured below to give you an idea of what comes in them).
