I love springtime. Mostly because I know summer isn’t far behind. Along with beautiful flowers and rain showers, spring brings allergies and wheezing for me. So while I love to see it, and all the beauty it brings, I’m glad for it to pass swiftly too.
Usually, just about the time I’m really ready for it to pass (like today–cough, cough, wheeze, wheeze), something amazing happens. Today, those joys are twofold!
First, Ben’s baseball team won their first game 11-7!! Go Red Sox!
And then, after we returned from the game, Ben made this discovery…..
Yep, a bird has chosen our gas meter, on the front of our house, to make her nest. It’s about 6 feet off the ground, so to find out what kind of bird it is, I had to lift my camera above it to shoot the inside….any guesses?
They are robin’s eggs! Aren’t they beautiful? We’ll be watching these closely over the next week or so. Hopefully we’ll soon see baby robins! Ben’s worried right now because a bad storm is brewing out there. Hopefully they’ll survive!
I just love it when God homeschools Ben 🙂
