Merry Christmas, friends!

Our blog will take a bit of a break through Christmas week, but I wanted to take just a moment to wish you a Merry Christmas, and offer you a small gift from us. A token of our appreciation for your faithfulness. I wish I could send all of you a little gift — a Starbuck’s Gift Card, a sweet ornament, or even one of the Christmas cards that I ran out of time to mail.

But since I can’t do that, instead I created a little print for you. It’s an excerpt of this verse from Isaiah 9:6 . . .

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I love seeing the prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament!

Feel feel to print it out, frame it, and hang it on a wall or place it on a table. Be reminded of the reason we celebrate this week:

Jesus!
