My husband and I celebrated our 16th year of marriage just 3 days ago. So, I thought it would be fitting to share with you a selection of music we chose to be played as a part of the pre-ceremony music at our wedding.
Largo is the opening aria in the opera, Xerxes, written by George Friederic Handel. It was first performed in London in 1738. It was my husband’s grandmother’s favorite piece of music and is a very calming piece to listen to. I sometimes play it in the evening when I’m winding down at the end of a long day, to help me relax and sleep easier. I think you will enjoy it as well.
